This was the first climb at my new spot in Bronte, a suburb of Catania, Italy. The name of this route is Normale. It is pretty easy and appropriately rated at 4c on the French scale. It is a 20 meters high. This was a fun climb because it was the first outdoor sport route I have done in a while since the day at Sunset Rock in Chattanooga, TN early last spring. Before that I had not climbed outdoors in almost four years due to my move from Oak Harbor, WA to flat-shitty-and-boring Norfolk, VA. I have missed this fun and challenging sport.
