Spinouts, the smell of burning rubber.

It’s a fast and furiously fun day at the racetrack — in this case, the parking lot of Henderson Stadium, full of carefully laid out rubber cones to create the mile-long course for regional drivers who wish to test their skills.

The Middle Georgia Region Sports Car Club of America meets monthly as drivers test their vehicles and skills against each other and themselves. The drivers hit the course four times, trying to come up with a best overall time that will bring them a trophy or a medal in their specific class.
