Zero Motorcycles plans to put its two-wheelers to the test and achieve a world record for the longest electric-powered motorbike race. Lasting 24 consecutive hours, 10 teams of at least five riders each will power through an off-road circuit complete with ramps, jumps and sharp 90-degree turns.
Gene Banman, the chief executive of Scotts Valley, California-based Zero Motorcycles, said he is organizing the April 4-5 event to change people’s perceptions…. Details
