O&E team rider Tyler Wright has claimed the 2011 ASP Women’s World Tour Rookie of the Year Award, finishing a season-end 4th amongst the most talented crop of female surfers ever to grace the ASP Top 17. No stranger to the elite level of competition, having already scalped two ASP Women’s World Title events (O’Neill Women’s World Cup in 2010 and Beachley Classic in 2008) as a wildcard, Wright made her presence immediately felt as a full-fledged member of the ASP Top 17.
