There’s a restlessness that creeps into biker’s bones when August rolls around. The call to embark on an epic road trip echoes in their skulls and the ability to focus on the day-to-day becomes a challenge as the spell of the Black Hills spreads from coast-to-coast and beyond. Soon, a half million riders will seek the light of the Sturgis sign on the hill and the rally will roar to life for the 71st time. Pappy Hoel would be proud.
