Jaguar is to build a £900,000 petrol-electric hybrid British supercar – the most expensive and ‘greenest’ in its history, it announced today.
With awesome power, a top speed in excess of 200mph and the ability to accelerate from rest to 60mph in under three seconds – outpacing a Bugatti Veyron – it will still have carbon dioxide emissions as low as a family Toyota Prius hybrid and be exempt from both road tax and the London congestion charge.
