Colorado Springs, Colo. (April 26, 2011) –USA Cycling is pleased to announce a roster of seven athletes it will send to round two of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Papendal, Netherlands on May 28. This World Cup is the fifth World Cup event to count into the 2010-2011 UCI BMX rankings and it also allows riders to accumulate points toward a country’s start spots at the 2012 Olympic Games.
An automatic qualifier to the team, Corben Sharrah (Tucson, Ariz./GT Bicycles) will lead the men’s contingent as the number-one ranked rider in the UCI’s Supercross World Cup standings.
