Snowboarding – Iceland’s AK Extreme Snowboard Festival Wrap Up

After a six year hiatus, the AK Extreme (AKX) snowboard, music, and general mayhem festival returned to Akureyri, Iceland April 7-10 for its fourth iteration. Over 5,000 locals turned out to rage, rock, and revel while the Helgasons and Gulli Gudmundson threw down on a kicker built from container trucks.
