Prior to the 2010 season, Cole Seely was scrambling just to find a ride of any sort, but the TLD/Lucas Oil Honda team saw potential in him and gave him a ride. It paid off with a podium finish in San Diego, and his potential showed frequently, both indoors and out. The team re-signed him for 2011, and he paid off again with his first-ever victory at the inaugural Dodger Stadium Supercross in Los Angeles, and when Josh Grant came up injured early in the season, Honda went searching for someone to put a bike out on the track. They landed on Seely, and he got four races on a factory 450. We caught up with him before the race in Dallas to find out how he felt about his time on a 450, and what he’s expecting when he returns to his CRF250R.Â
