Climber tumbles 1,000ft down rocky mountain… and is found by rescuers on his feet reading a map
A climber who plunged 1,000ft down a mountain and was found standing up reading a map by rescuers was named this afternoon.
Adam Potter had just reached the summit of the 3,589ft (1,094m) Sgurr Choinnich Mor, around five miles (8km) east of Ben Nevis, when he lost his footing.
