St. Wendel, German (January 29, 2011) — Danny Summerhill (Centennial, Colo./Garmin) finished 13th in the U23 men’s contest to led the U.S. team on day one of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in St. Wendel, Germany on Saturday. Sixteen-year-old Andrew Dillman (Fairdale, Ky.) led the American juniors with a 21st place finish. Both riders suffered mid-race mishaps causing them to fall from lead groups on the fast, but slick course.
