Born and raised in South Africa, but now based and racing in the USA Gavin Lubbe has been on it lately. Gathering those Olympic qualifying points as he races along he is definitely helping his home country out. Monterey is a pretty quiet place, they even let Clint Eastwood become mayor of one of the towns but Gavin is working hard and helping out other riders who want to make it in the USA.
