The Glacier Project is a one-hour documentary following the exploits of world-renowned big wave surfers Garrett McNamara and Kealii Mamala as they attempt to become the first to surf the gigantic waves created by calving glaciers. The journey follows Garrett and Kealii to Hawaii, southern California, Mexico, Australia, and finally to the Cooper River in Alaska. Will the duo summon the courage to put their lives on the line for a wave unlike any other?
