This year’s Longboard World championship, the OXBOW Wave Sliders, will take place on the beach of Makaha on Hawaii from October 29 to November 7, 2010. The current selection of riders is impressive: the best longboarders worldwide will gather upon this famous surf spot so as to land the coveted title of ASP World Longboard champion.
The Australian titleholder Harley Ingleby will indeed be challenged this year. The local Hawaiian heroes Bonga Perkins and Duane DeSoto will put all their strengths into the competition in order to win the title in front of the Hawaiian audience. The best European longboarders, Antoine Delpero and Ben Skinner will put their hearts and souls into challenging a bunch of talented Hawaiian, Californian and Brazilian athletes
