WHITE SALMON — Trails in the Coyote Wall-Catherine Creek area would be cut from 37 to 26 miles under the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area’s proposed plan for the popular hiking-mountain bike spot in western Klickitat County.
The Forest Service unveiled the plan and gathered public comment on Tuesday. A copy of the environmental assessment may be downloaded at www.fs.fed.us/r6/columbia/projects.
