As the manufacturers’ slogans frequently underscore, the only parts of your car that touch the highway are your tires. And nobody wants to worry about whether their tread is getting the job done or fret about how long they’re going to last. Especially NASCAR racers, who have directed considerable ire at Goodyear during the past year. Remember the trouble last summer at Indianapolis.
