For the first time in the history of windsurfing we have a female over-all Champion. Former IMCO World Champion Perinne Messialle (FRA) delivered a stunning performance to become the first Kona European Champion and the first girl ever to claim the title in a one fleet event.
In the light conditions, her boat speed and excellent tactical sailing kept her in contention from race one, and as the Championship progressed Perinne just got better and better, finishing off with three 2nds. and two bullets … Details
