Making Napa’s Donny Robinson get off his BMX bike is like taking a fish out of water. It just isn’t right.
After several weeks off the racing circuit due to various injuries — including a collapsed lung, on two separate occasions — the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist is getting back on the horse this weekend in Utah.
“The last couple months off from racing have been difficult for me,†Robinson wrote in a recent e-mail blast.
“It’s very hard watching race weekends go on, without me being there for the battle. Understanding that I haven’t had much time off to fully work on my fitness since well before the Olympics, I look at this time off as being needed for the next couple years.â€Â … Details
