Hundreds of mountain bikers took to the slopes of Northstar-at-Tahoe this past weekend to compete on the third stop of the Professional Mountain Bike Gravity Tour (Pro GRT).
The four-day event began Thursday with practice and included four-cross and downhill racing on Saturday and Sunday. Both pros and amateurs competed, from locals to world-class riders from around the globe.Â
Among the pro contingent, World Cup series leader Greg Minnaar of South Africa raced to a first-place finish in the downhill, posting a time of 3:59.9 on the Gypsie Trail.
