LAGUNA, Santa Catarina/Brazil (Thursday, June 24, 2010) – A strong offshore wind blew all night and the waves went dead flat in all Santa Marta Cape beaches, so a call was set for 10 am. At 11 o’clock, the contest restarted at Cigana Beach located just a few miles south of the main site, but small waves and strong winds allowed for just two heats to be run.
