I’m warming up to these ATV things. First it was the 4×4 utility quads. I grew up in the country so off-roading was always a way to pass the time. Of course, we never had 4WD vehicles, just crappy old cars and trucks, so we called it scrapping, but it was probably better that way. Now that I’ve got access to all the new utility ATVs and side-by-sides, I’m really into the scrappin’ theme again, only now I can get into tighter, muddier, more technical places that I probably should be.Â
My line of thought so far is that if I want to haul ass, like on a motocross track, I’d rather do it on a bike and leave the slow rock-crawling to the four-wheelers. It’s worked well so far, but with the knee injury, I’ve been looking to ATVs more and more … Details
