The world famous Cabarete World Cup in the Dominican Republic, the Kitesurfing Caribbean capital, returns in 2010 to the PKRA World Tour. This year as a 5 stars, IKA base factor 7 event. The event will be at Bozo beach from June 17 – 20, with registration on June 16th.
The top riders in the world, including 2009 World Champion Kevin Langeree (Naish, NED) and 2010 World Tour leader Andy Yates (Slingshot, AUD) will battle the extremely talented Dominican riders. Cabarete, due to its amazingly good kiteboarding weather condition, has a very high concentration of talented freestyle local riders, and has produced many kiteboarding stars, like Ariel Corniel, Alex Soto, and Manuel Rondon to name a few … Details
