And then there were two! As the last two boats in the Atlantic Ocean rowing race inch along their somewhat wiggly paths west to Antigua, the weather and conditions still aren’t letting up or helping their progress in any way.  Â
Last weekend, Team Boogie Woogie completed their crossing in 96 days, 20 hours and 15 minutes, arriving at English Harbour in daylight to a warm welcome. The Danish pair of Ole Elmer and Brian Heron were actually on a cycling trip a few years ago when they first heard about ocean rowing, after a chance meeting with Tori Holmes and George Simpson, also cycling, who both rowed the Atlantic in 2005. It must seem like a million years since that first conversation, and amazing to see that the idea and dream did turn into reality  … Details & Pictures
