Colorado Springs, Colo. (April 13, 2010) – USA Cycling sent twenty riders to represent the United States at the Pan American Continental Mountain Bike Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala, April 9-11. At the end of the three-day competition, the team had earned seven medals – three of which were Continental titles.
On Saturday, Katie Holden (Scotts Valley, Calif.) grabbed the first medal for the U.S. contingent, riding to the Continental title in the elite women’s downhill contest.
