Group plans to skate across Golden Gate Bridge

The California Outdoor Rollerskating Association will hold a fun skate across the Golden Gate Bridge today, even if they have to remove their skates and walk across the bridge, event organizers said.

The group, which is encouraging the public to join, will meet at the Ferry Building at 11 a.m. and leave for Sausalito at noon.

Skaters will go past Pier 39, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason and the Palace of Fine Arts before skating across the bridge and ending at the Sausalito Ferry terminal …  Details
