Surfing – 7th Annual Ian Walsh’s Menehune Mayhem Contest Fires Up Maui’s Youth

The clouds parted, the sun shined, and crowds flocked Ian Walsh’s Menehune Mayhem at Hookipa Beach Park for contestable 4-to 8-footers and a day of unadulterated fun.

Now in its seventh year, the Mayhem surf contest has always been about sharing the stoke. Hundreds of kids came out to compete in the surf contest, and to hang out beachside. Other contests included a dance off, scavenger hunt and arm wrestling contest against Kai “Borg” Garcia to win tickets to an upcoming 311 concert on Oahu  …  Details & Pictures
