For 20 years, the Moroccan desert has drawn teams of hardy souls for a peculiar nine-day adventure, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles. This environmentally conscious off-road event is reminiscent of “The Amazing Race,†with some major differences.
It is for women only, speed is not the point and no prizes are awarded.
