The Tire Kingdom NHRA Gatornationals was held this weekend at the Gainesville Raceway. The weather seemed to be perfect for racing this weekend with Karen Stoffer and her Suzuki/Geico Powersports motorcycle setting a national record with a time of 6.847 in the quarter mile. Karen stated after the run, ” We’ve still got the good conditions out there that we had yesterday, and everyone’s got the nerves out after the first round. I’m not sure it can go any lower than that, but I’m not going to set it in stone just yet.” Â
