A hack from a Sydney tabloid has scooped every surf journalist in the world with a story revealing that Kelly Slater still dreams of leading a rebel tour to wealth and glory.
In an interview published on Sunday, Josh Rakic, of the Sun-Herald, somehow managed to extract from Slater the extraordinary and provocative quote: “I don’t think that the ESPN Tour is completely a dead idea. I think there’s still some kind of possibility that it could happen.” …Â Details
