Prepartions for the women’s world surfing event at Fitzroy Beach continue with event co-ordinator Jonette Mead in town to check on progress.
Taranaki hosts the top 17 women surfers in the world as part of the nine-day surf festival on April 10 to 16.
They will start with the New Zealand Women’s Open, U21 Girls’ Pro Junior and end with a five-day window to hold the Women’s World Tour event.Â
