Two-time supercross champion Chad Reed will miss at least six weeks of this year’s season — including two races at Anaheim Stadium — after undergoing surgery to repair his broken left hand, his Kawasaki team said today.
Reed, 27, injured his hand after an accident with archrival James Stewart during the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series race Saturday night at Chase Field in Phoenix. Supercross is the stadium version of motocross, or off-road motorcycle racing.
