Roger Penske, owner of the automobile racing team Penske Racing, has donated $25,000 toward the Brienne Davis Memorial Scholarship, the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Foundation announced. The money will help one qualified female to attend UTI’s NASCAR Technical Institute. The Penske award is part of the Brienne Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund for women pursuing careers in the automotive industry.

“The automotive industry needs outstanding people, like Brienne Davis, who are dedicated to top-notch service,” said Roger Penske, chairman of Penske Corporation, in a release. “This scholarship was created to provide more opportunities for women committed to pursuing technical excellence through a career in the motorsports and racing industries.”   …  Details
