On Saturday, a number of Houstonians with disabilities took on a new ability – scuba diving. At the Houston Scuba Academy Ana Calvo got her first lesson.
“It’s something that I always wanted to do. I just didn’t know what there was out there, to do something like this for people with disabilities,” she said
Calvo was born without arms or legs, and while her disability has made it difficult for her; it has never stopped her from trying new things. So, when Diveheart president, Jim Elliott, approached Calvo to try out scuba diving she jumped right in…Â Details & Video
