John Shirley is 69-years-old and shows no signs of abandoning a sport formerly favored mostly by the young.
But he will be far from the oldest at this weekend’s Charity Challenge at Infineon Raceway, a gathering of vintage car racers organized by the Classic Sports Racing Group to benefit the Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.
