It hasn’t been a recession that has been dogging Dodge in Sprint Cup; it’s been a depression….

…But last weekend after the track had cleared of Cup cars at Auto Club Speedway, there was a morsel of hope that remained for the Dodge folks: the performance of the new Dodge engine, the R6P8.
