SAN DIEGO — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CPB) has acquired an advanced-design high-speed interceptor vessel for inspection, evaluation and pursuit of smugglers’ boats entering U.S. waters.
The 43-foot 1,400 hp “go-fast†test vessel has been making the rounds in different U.S. ports. It made an appearance in Texas in late July and is scheduled to remain berthed in San Diego for two weeks.
