Folly Beach, SC – Sunny skies, a steady breeze and waves created perfect conditions for experienced surfers and autistic children to get out and surf at Folly Beach.
“He’s in Heaven. He’s just so happy and content. He doesn’t have any fear or any sense of danger,†said Eileen Rous.
Rous’ five year old son Cole has autism and she says that riding the waves has a therapeutic affect on him.
“He makes much better eye contact. He connects more with you and the professional surfer,†she said.
