Offshore Powerboat Racing – Tandberg eyes third Norwegian Grand Prix win on home waters

Dubai: Defending champion Jorn Tandberg will be eyeing another strong finish this weekend in an attempt to break the Middle East dominance in Class One powerboat racing during the BMW Norwegian Grand Prix in Arendal from July 17-19.

With 40 points up for grabs during the second round of the 2009 UIM WPPA Class One World Powerboat Championship, the Norwegian will be banking on home advantage to upset Dubai’s Victory Team and the two boats from the Spirit of Qatar team…  Details
