Two great white sharks have been tracked within close proximity of a popular California surfing destination known for shark attacks.
Michael Domeier of the Marine Conservation Science Institute stated via Instagram Friday that a large adult female white shark named Poe Girl was positioned off “infamous” Surf Beach at Vandenberg Air Force Base near Lompoc.
A sub-adult female white shark, named Betty White, was tracked to the same area.
