American mountain bike all-rounder Marla Streb (Luna Chix) fell in love with Costa Rica five years ago, so much so that she and her husband moved there in 2007 with plans to launch Marla Streb Mountain Bike Skills Camp. A handful of women’s only camps are scheduled for 2009, with 12 camps scheduled in all.
“I was turned on to Costa Rica when I raced La Ruta for the first time, about five years ago,” Streb told BikeRadar. “I thought it would be a perfect place to start building mountain bike trails to really get into the jungles.
