Sanctuary Skateboards, a Redlands-based company, brings creatures of the sea to the pavement.
Sanctuary Skateboards was started in 1997 by Ken Hill, a retired art teacher, and his son Edward Hill, an engineer. The two combined their talents to create the sea creature-shaped cruising boards.
Unlike other skateboards that may have applique stickers or graphics plastered on an oblong piece of board, Ken and Edward’s skateboards are the design.
