Anne Klazek first started skateboarding eight years ago after a boy in a youth program she worked for gave her his old beater skateboard to use.
“I’ll never forget that,” Klazek says. “I was so excited and I started learning.”
After picking up some tips and tricks from the kids in the program, Klazek signed up for some lessons through the recreation program in Calgary, Alberta, her hometown.
“It was hilarious,” Klazek recalls, “because it was me and a whole group of 12-year-old boys, and I was about 20 at the time.” … DetailsÂ
