Although he already has secured a spot in Supercross – and, for that matter, motorsports – history, James Stewart admits he is chasing a number.

Actually, the number could be 75 . . . or 100. And it could be eight.
Stewart wants to eclipse Jeremy McGrath as the winningest rider in Supercross history.
“Jeremy is the yardstick for me,†the 23-year-old Stewart said yesterday as he prepared for tomorrow night’s Monster energy Supercross at Qualcomm Stadium.
