NASCAR’s truck series starts its season tonight at Daytona International Speedway under new rules aimed at cutting costs for the competing teams.
A good idea, said driver Rick Crawford, except he doesn’t think the guidelines enacted by NASCAR will work. He also fears the new rules could adversely affect the quality of racing at the worst possible time and may even hold hazardous implications.
