Offshore Powerboat Racing – P1 Powerboat Grand Prix of the Sea: OSG in great shape for Istanbul

Giovanni Carpitella has highlighted speed as the key to success ahead of the Grand Prix of the Sea in Turkey later this month. 

Experienced powerboater Carpitella replaces Giancarlo Cangiano as throttleman in the SNAV OSG boat with the latter missing the event as he is awaiting the arrival of his first child. 

Carpitella believes the calmer waters on the Bosphorus will require their Outerlimits boat to find extra pace should they harbour aspirations of maintaining their lead at the top of the Powerboat P1 World Championship Evolution-class standings.
