There appears to be an uproar in the forthcoming future from fans in support of Carl Long and his crew chief Charles Swing’s $200,000 fine he was issued for having an engine 0.17-inches too large.
On Long’s website, Carl-Long.com, fans have started donating money to help pay for the fine that Long admitted he won’t be able to pay.
As of June 5 at 9 a.m. ET, the website shows that $7,159.27 has been raised, which includes a $5,000 donation from Sprint Cup Series driver David Reutimann.
