The Freestyle Motocross competition for the 2017 Nitro World Games added eight new semifinalists to the pack after qualifiers in Southern California. Javier Villegas topped the field with a beautiful run, during which he showed he’s been working for the last 10 months in preparation for qualifying for the 2017 NWG. Fan-favorite Fred Kyrillos also secured a spot. And FMX veteran Steve Mini, who hadn’t hit a 120-foot gap in more than four years until the previous, is also headed to the semifinals. Leo Fini, Davide Rossi, Blake “Bilko” Williams, Cal Vallone, and Anthony Murray rounded out the field.
