Easily one of the Best Days so far at The Wedge in 2017. Jamie O’Brien was in town with Poopies and decided to join in on The Wedge Madness. With the early morning High Tide Launching backwash flares I decided to get in as soon as I showed up and ended up being the first one in. Hope you all enjoy.
I took a few beatings to get some of these shots but well worth it. Pat Towersey had one of the waves of the day. Tyler Thornsley and Branden DeFilippo surfing early getting that early morning backwash monsters. Brad Domke, Sam Stinnett and Ace Conlon killing it on the skimboards pulling into some pumping slabs. Such good times meeting everyone out there. It was crazy and crowded but it was epic. – Brent Weldon
