The story of a place and a wave, of danger and accomplishments, of death and glory existing together in harmony. The people of this small fishing town in Portugal are very familiar with the “beauty and beast” nature of the sea.
According to the locals, hundreds of both experienced fisherman and unsuspecting tourists alike have been taken by it, or “stayed there” over the past eight centuries of people making Nazaré their home and place of business.
