The riding was all-time in the men’s halfpipe finals, but in the end only three runs would rise to the top. With signature height and difficulty, defending champ Shaun White dropped a hammer that proved to be untouchable, finishing a full ten points ahead of Scotty James. Transition technician Chase Josey rounded things out in third to land on this first Burton US Open podium.
